Celebrate creativity and remembrance in this Day of the Dead collage workshop. Students may submit a photograph of themselves, a loved one, or a pet, which will be transformed into a portrait featuring colorful Day of the Dead–inspired makeup and printed out. During the workshop, students will use their personalized portrait to create a vibrant collage filled with meaningful imagery, decorative patterns, and festive details
All materials included - canvas board, lots of collage papers, tools.
This workshop is taught by two experienced artists/teachers, Edward Martin and Cynthia Louden, so you have 2 teachers to guide you as needed. It is held at the Art Connection Store in San Antonio Tlayacapan, between the corner of Super Lake and the Rivera. You will take home a completed piece of art to hang above your Day of the Dead alter.
