The Tree of Life is a powerful symbol of wholeness, representing the connection between earth and sky, body and spirit, roots and branches. It is one of humanity's most enduring symbols, appearing in cultures across time and geography. Though its forms vary, it consistently represents the interconnectedness of all living things.
This workshop blends art-making with gentle self-inquiry. Students will create a collage that represents their life's journey and the deeper meaning of their personal tree.
All materials are provided including line drawings of trees, photorealistic images of trees, symbols to adorn your tree and many collage papers. No artistic experience is necessary. By the end of class each student will leave with a Tree of Life collage that reflects their unique story and a renewed sense of rootedness and inspiration.
